Rachel perched on the edge of the stage as she searched through her sheet music for a suitable song to song in glee. She smoothed her skirt across her legs as she flicked through sheet after sheet. She was was waiting for Brittany because they had to perform it together.


*cue Brittany when she can be bothered*

[Brittany Pierce]

"Hey Rachel! Brittany skipped into the auditorium happily. "I stayed up last night trying to figure out what song we should sing and I caught a whiff of inspiration, literally. Mr.Tubbington ate some funky fish and he had the runs all night. So I think that we should sing Smelly Cat by Phoebe Buffay. I think its a really emotional song about cats who have been neglected by their owner because of their odour." Britt finished beamng, she'd never put so much thought and emotion into a song.

[Rachel Berry]

"Brittany, as much as I appreciate and ... Admire the thought you put into this song, I don't think it's the right song to help us win Nationals." Rachel smiled, standing up and dusting off her skirt. "We need something...epic."

[Brittany Pierce]

"But...But..." Brittany whimpered, nothing she ever did was right for the glee club. Sometimes she felt out of place. Although Britt really wanted it to suceed, she wanted to be a part of the suceeding. "Okay, I guess your right. What should we do?" She sighed.

[Rachel Berry]

"We need to think outside of the box." Rachel mused, sitting on the piano stool that stood behind the piano on the auditorium stage.

[Brittany Pierce]

"Yeah, I agree. There isn't much in the box that we can use." Brittany said thoughtfully, taking a seat beside her.

[Alexander Jones]

Alex once again, dropped down from the Cieling. "Outside the box? Rachel, just let Britt, Mike, and me dance." He said.

[Katy Salt]

Katy climbed so she hung from the platform fitted over the stage to fix lights and effects. From there, she let go and dropped to the ground, quickly straightening up. The overexcitable girl skipped over to the piano and hopped up so she was sitting on it. She slid down toward the keys, smiling at Rachel and Brittany who were sitting on the stool there.

"Hey guys!" Katy smiled. "Sorry for crashing your rehearsal. Fixing the lights for our performance." She said excitedly, twirling a lock of red hair between her fingers.

[Alexander Jones]

Alex saw the girl drop from the lights. "I always do that, I guess you didn't crash anything." Alex said. Jumping from the Piano, pushing his foot against the wall, and then using the force from the wall and grabbed on to the cieling again.

"I LOVE FREERUNNING!" He said all hyper.

[Brittany Pierce]

"CEILING MAN AND CEILING WOMAN?!" Brittany shouted amazed. "You are the perfect match, in fighting crime!" She put her hands on her hips like a superhero.
