The Evans' Motel Room Empty Re: The Evans' Motel Room

"Go to sleep, honey. It's late." Sam did his best to convince his little sister Stacie. "Sammy, can we have one more story?" She asked with a sweet smile. Sam sighed quietly and rubbed at his tired eyes. "Sure, why not?" He grinned at his little siblings. How could he deny them of anything when they already lived in a motel room?

Although it helped that the glee club knew and did what they could to help, Sam still stayed up well into the early hours of the morning washing clothes and cooking food. "Yay!" The twins chirped in response.

Sam clambered onto the bed once more and squeezed into the space between Stevie and Stacie. He wrapped one arm around each of them as he started his story. Both twins cuddled into Sam's sides and closed their eyes. "Once upon a time there was a prince and a princess. They were ca-" "Tell us the one where Prince Sammy saves us from the dragon!" Stacie smiled up at her big brother and Sam felt tears threaten. "Okay. Once upon a time there was a prince and a princess. They were called Stevie and Stacie......"

Brittany knocked on the door quietly, "Let us in." She put on a deep villian voice and heard a few chuckles. She returned to her normal voice then "Lord Tubbington needs to use your toilet!" Brittany whispered.

"So Prince Sammy jump-" Sam cut off and at first he panicked a little at the knocking at the door. But he recognised the voice of his friend Brittany and calmed down. Sam slid down the bed and got to his feet, careful not to move the twins, who were so close to sleeping. He crossed the room quickly and quietly and pulled open the door.

"Who is it, Sammy?" Stacie asked, peeking out from behind her brother's legs with the cutest expression Sam had ever seen on his little sister's face. He leaned down and swung the little blonde girl up into his arms and started walking back to the bed after he said a soft 'come in' to Brittany.

Sam put his sister back into bed but she refused to let go of his shirt. "Stace, come on, let go." He smiled. She shook her head stubbornly, smiling right back at him. Sam shrugged and tickled Stacie's sides, grinning while she giggled loudly.

Once Britt stepped in she set Lord Tubbington down and he quickly scampered off to thr bathroom. "Hey guys." She whispered, seeing Sam's little brother sleeping. "And why are you still up?" Brittany asked little Stacie with her arms folded.

Sam tucked Stacie under the cover next to Stevie gently then took a step back when Britt started talking to her. Sam frowned and looked around for Britt's cat and caught the tip of his tail disappearing inside the small bathroom. He laughed softly. "Sammy was telling us a story!" Stacie replied.

Brittany sat on her hunkers at the end of the bed, Lord Tubbington came back and hopped up beside her. She smiled. "We love stories." She stroked him. "Go on."

"Uh-I-I-" Sam stuttered, nervous about his story-making and telling skills in front of one of his friends from school. "Stacie, it's late you really need to go to sleep now." He decided.

"Aw please," Brittany encouraged him. "We'll help you, won't we Stacie? A girl can't go to sleep without a bedtime story." She smiled and that was quite true for Brittany.

Sam nodded reluctantly and smiled. Knowing Brittany, that statement was probably true. Stacie smiled and crawled across the bed until she was cuddled against Brittany's side. "Aw, come on now, Stacie." Sam said softly. "I'll tell you the story but only if you go to sleep. I'm sure Brittany will need to leave soon, so get into bed with Stevie." He smiled at his sister and picked her from the bed and swung her into the air, keeping a firm grasp on her. He brought her closer to him so he could stage whisper into her ear. "Or maybe the tickle monster will come for you!" "No!" Stacie shrieked, giggling. "Shh!!!" Sam laughed softly, using one hand to pull back the covers for what he hoped would be the last time. With the other, he set Stacie down next to her twin brother gently. Sam knelt on the ground beside the bed. "Once upon a time there were two princesses called Stacie and Brittany. . ."

For Brittany watching Sam with his younger siblings was one of the cutest things ever. She couldn't help but smile as he tucked them into bed. He was extremeley responsible when it came to them but yet silly and fun at the same time. She winced a bit when he mentioned the tickle monster, Brit had always been afraid of him as a child and in the back of her mind she still was. Brittany stretched across the bottom of the bed, like her cat, and made herself comfortable. Listening eagerly, her face was animated, and she said happily. "And a Lord named Tubbington."

Sam grinned at Brittany when she added to the story. "Of course, and a Lord named Tubbington." He added. "And they were having a tea party in Brittany and Stacie's castle on ..." Sam waited for a response from Stacie to add to his story. "Christmas!" She whispered, finally getting that her twin brother was in fact sleeping. Sam chuckled quietly. "on Christmas day ..." Sam carried on, his voice staying soft with fear or waking his little brother.

"And Santa was there!" Brittany whipser-yelled with a huge grin. Brittany was alot like Stacie despite the age difference, infact that was probably why they were so similar.

"Of course Santa was there!" Stacie said sweetly. "Every year on Christmas Day, he visits Princess Brittany and Princess Stacie's castle!" She added. Sam laughed quietly once more at the friendship between his little sister and his own friend. "And Lord Tubbington sat at the table with them but didn't drink the tea... He had a glass of milk instead." Sam added.

"Mmmhmm, because we have the best castle in the whole universe!" Brittany beamed. "Yes, but it was goat milk because he was a bit suspicious about the cows." She informed them both, she was really getting into the story telling, Britt could have done that every night.

Sam chuckled softly. "Okay so we've got Princess Brittany and Princess Stacie and Lord Tubbington at a tea party at the princesses' castle with Santa Claus and Lord was drinking goat's milk because the cows look shifty..." He trailed off, unsure where to go from here. "Suddenly..." Stacie prompted. "Suddenly there was a loud crash as..." "Prince Sam!" Stacie cheered. Sam laughed softly, his eyes drifting to the ground at letting Brittany hear the ridiculous things he told his siblings.

"So Sam slayed the suspicious-looking cows. Then he joined the princesses, lord Tubbington and Santa at their tea party. The end." Sam rushed a little because no matter how many times it was proven that Brittany really didn't care that Sam told ridiculous bed time stories to his younger siblings, he still felt embarrassed.

Sam glanced over at his little sister to watch her reaction. She smiled sweetly and nodded, shifting so she could hug her twin brother. Sam got to his feet and sighed, rubbing his eyes. "Thank you." He murmured softly to Brittany.

Sam smiled at his classmate and yawned. "You're more than welcome to crash here, if you want Britt. It's kinda late." He laughed a little. "I don't know if Lord Tubbington's afraid of the dark or..." He smiled. "But, I mean, you don't have to." He added with a smile.

"Are you and Lord Tubbington like, secretly related or in a relationship or what?" Brittany asked, pretty gobsmacked. She was the only one who knew of Lord T's fear of the dark. "Thanks Sam." She smiled hugely, excepting the offer.
